ادعای بزرگ: حداقل در طول چند صد سال اخیر، عامل اصلی عقب ماندگی ایران چیزی جز مشکلات فرهنگی ما ایرانیان نیست.

دخالت و فعالیت های استعماری تجربه تاریخی اکثر ملت ها (کشورهای منفعت طلب)- تقصیرات ما (اشاره به جنگ های ایران و روسیه)

تصمیمات غلط دولت مردان ایران ریشه در باور مرکز ثقل باور عمومی

سیاست گزاری حاکمان            باور مرکز ثقل باور عمومی

مشکل فرهنگی: رفتاریست که نتایج منفی آن برای فرد و جامعه به مراتب بیش از مزایای آن باشد.

صرفاً مختص فرهنگ ایرانی نمی باشد  

فرهنگ های نزدیک (فرهنگ های  خاورمیانه ای، شمال آفریقا و جنوب اروپا)  سهیم در بخشی از این مشکلات (به نحو مشابه شریک بودن در محاسن)

وجود اکثریت این مشکلات در سابقه همه جوامع وحذف آن در جوامع مدرن با ظهور مدرنیته

ادعای وجود قسمتی از این رفتار در اکثریت نزدیک به مطلق ایرانیان (بحث آماری)

 دیدگاه من درباره ریشه های اصلی:

۱. سلطه قوم های خارجی برای مدت طولانی (به طور مثال مغول ها)

 ایجاد روحیه شدید ترس و محافظه کاری (کند کردن تحولات مترقی و هر نوع تغییر)

انتقال رفتارها و ارزش های نامطلوب

٢. آب و هوای گرم و خشک : دادن ثبات به خصلت های نامطلوب  

مثال:

 - دقت به افزایش قدرت زن با نزدیک شدن به قطب

(کاهش قدرت زن در خانواده شاید به علت افزایش نیروی جنسی مرد)

- خشکی و مساله تقسیم آب و حکومت مقتدرانه فردی

- تاثیر خشکی آب و هوا در سخت و خشک شدن روحیات انسان

١.  بلوغ احساسی

۲. محافظه کاری تاریخی

۳. آرمان گرایی و عدم اعتماد به نفس

۴. تفکر طبقاتی و عدم توجه به تفاوتهای فردی

 بلوغ احساسی:

بلوغ عاطفی : رسیدن به حدی از پختگی احساسی که فرد راه حلهای پیچیده تری برایِِِ مشکلات روزمره عاطفی خود پیدا کند .

عامل های اصلی تبلور بلوغ احساسی:

استقلال اقتصادی و اجتماعی و مسوولیت های شدید ناشی از آن

استقلال عاطفی و کش و قوس های شدید عاطفی

ضوابط سخت تر محیط های کار

نقصان موارد فوق در فرهنگ ایرانی

پیچیدگی رفتار باعث کاهش خشونت آشکار در زندگی

ایده تمدن و ملالت های فروید: شکل گرفتن تمدن با خویشتن داری و به تاخیر انداختن خواسته های فوری

عدم بلوغ          قهر کردن یا خشونت آنی برای رسیدن به مقصود

مثال در تفاوت بلوغ احساسی و فکری (جلسه های ایرانیان)

 ضعف عظیم در کار گروهی

دسته دسته شدن و ساز فردی سر دادن

درگیریهای قابل اجتناب (عادی بودن در فرهنگ ایرانی)

عدم توانایی فرد در تعمیم خود خواهی فردی به خود خواهی گروهی

تاکید بر اختلافات به جای شباهت ها، عدم گذشت و خشونت های نابجا

تحت تاثیرالقائات اطرافیان و جامعه (بحث آماری و عدد بحرانی)

رایجات وسیع بین ایرانیان بدون دلیل منطقی قابل قبول

علاقه خاص به یک نوع خاصی از پوشش یا آرایش

روابط بین پدر- مادر و فرزند ونحوه کنترل رفتار بچه یکی از پیچیده ترین برخوردها

کنترل رفتار بچه توسط اهرم های خشونت های فیزیکی، گفتاری و روانی

خشونت فیزیکی یا گفتاری یکی از ساده ترین راههاست (راه حل ساده و در عین حال پر ضرر و بی ثبات )
